to return to your director by Wednesday, November 30:

agencies, tax preparers, and some school offices. Your parent’s signature in the presence of a Notary Public
grants their permission for ACDA-MN to handle any potential medical or liability event.|

Arrival – Upon arrival at the Central Lutheran Church campus, you will see outdoor honor choir signage that
will direct you to your destination—the South Commons entrance. Please drop off students immediately in front
of the entrance, or if desired, park in the surface parking lot just south of the building. Regular parking rates
apply. Parents may escort their singer to the check-in site, but to avoid hundreds of parents and students all
converging into a small lobby at the same time, we ask that parents excuse themselves immediately. Singers
will receive their nametags and T-Shirts and will be escorted into the rehearsal site.

Preparation of the Music – You must arrange rehearsals with your choral director to thoroughly prepare and
masterfully learn the music. Bring your music, music folder or large envelope with your name on the outside,
and a pencil with you to honor choir rehearsals.

CONCERT DETAILS

Date and Time: Thursday, February 16, 2012, 5:15 pm

Location: Sanctuary, Central Lutheran Church, Minneapolis

Student Attire – please wear your concert attire (black) bottom for the day if possible. You will receive your
honor choir t-shirt when you arrive.

Rehearsals – nice casual attire
Concert – Honor Choir T-Shirts, black bottoms, (slacks preferred) black shoes

Additional Concert Tickets may be purchased at a cost of $10 during morning check-in registration, or may be
secured at the concert site south commons entrance prior to the performance.

Concert recording (audio and video) will be made during the performance. Please note that one audio CD is
included in the cost of the participation fee. Additional recordings may be ordered and purchased at the concert
site. Special note: As this concert is being professionally recorded, no audio or video recording by concert
patrons is allowed.

Concert Parking is available in any surface lot or parking ramps near the Central Lutheran campus. Drop off
for handicapped or elderly patrons available at the South Commons entrance at 4:45 pm.

Special Note - Due to other concert performances and rehearsals in the Sanctuary of Central Lutheran, that
immediately precede the honor choir performance, concert goers will not be permitted into the facility until ½
hour prior to the honor choir concert.

OTHER INFORMATION

Water Bottles – students may wish to bring a water bottle clearly marked with their name to the rehearsal
location.

Meals – Please eat a good breakfast prior to your arrival at the rehearsal site. A mid morning snack along with
a noon meal will be served by the Central Lutheran Food Service. If your singer has any food allergies, or
desires a vegetarian meal, please indicate that information on the Medical Information form.

Photo Orders – A representative from Varsity Photo and Awards in Burnsville will be on hand to take a formal
photograph of the choir at Central Lutheran Church. The cost of photos is not included in the honor choir participation fee.
Parents may leave order forms with the representative at the concert site. Please do not send to the ACDAMN
office.

Hotel Information – blocks of rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn Express located at 225 South 11th Street in downtown Minneapolis for Wednesday, February 15 and/or Thursday, February 16.

North Mankato, just ten miles south of the Gustavus campus for Friday, November 18 and Saturday, November

19. All prices are discounted for the ACDA-MN State Honor Choir weekend.
