Duty Days: 186 (temporary for 2008-2009 school
year)
Supervisor: Paul Neubauer
Principal Salary: Per Teacher Contract
Qualifications: Minnesota Licensure in Secondary
Vocal Music Education and previous teaching
experience is preferred.
Candidate should provide evidence of outstanding
teaching, leadership, organization,
communication, conducting, piano, and
performance skills. Additional experience
organizing and assisting with fundraising, music
boosters, concert tours, and drama productions
is also desired. A prepared vocal excerpt of a
standard art song or aria and a short piano
selection will be part of the interview process.
Job Duties: St. Francis High School is a public
school with an active choral department
consisting of over 230 students, grades 9- 12,
and 2 full-time choral directors. The directors
will be involved in the shared instruction of
Freshman Men and Women Choirs, Bel Canto Choir,
Concert Choir, and Madrigal Singers, which
includes additional extracurricular rehearsals.
