Background:  I am originally from Coon Rapids MN.  After graduating from St. John’s University, I taught three years at Cathedral High School in St. Cloud MN and was the Associate Artistic Director of the St. John’s Boys’ Choir.  I spent two years in Seattle at the University of Washington and am currently serving as the Director of Choral Activities and Music Education at the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth.

Message to Colleagues:  I am extremely honored to be editor of this multiple award-winning state newsletter.  I look forward to maintaining the high standards and mission of the Star of the North, while at the same time hope to infuse new insight, personality and ideas into the publication.  Please feel free to contact me any time with ideas, comments, or just to say “hi”.
