These are some of the highlights of my presidential term:

The very first ACDA-MN by-laws were written and revised during 1979-91
In 1979, the Star of the North newsletter printing format was changed from offset to professional typeset format with pictures, and for the very first time, advertising was incorporated into the newsletter to help defray professional printing costs.
Thirteen Minnesota Repertoire and Standards (R&S) committee chairs were appointed in 1979-80 afgter ACDA National created this structure for developing choral activities on national, division and state levels.
Both the 1979 and 1980 fall ACDA-MN conventions broke all-time past attendance records. In 1979, 178 ACDA members attended at St. Olaf College, and in 1980, 206 ACDA members were present in St. Cloud.
