6th Annual Choral Arts Finale: April 10, 2011

ACDA of Minnesota and Concordia University, St.
Paul are pleased to announce that the 6th Annual
Choral Arts Finale will be held on Sunday, April
10, 2011. The guest conductor/clinician for the
day is nationally renowned conductor Dr. Edith
Copley, Director of Choral Activities at
Northern Arizona University. The day will begin
in the afternoon with clinic sessions for each
choir and massed choir rehearsals led by Dr.
Copley on the Concordia University, St. Paul
campus. The gala concert closing the day is at
7:30 p.m. at Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis. ACDA
members may order two complimentary tickets for
the concert.
Applications and audition recordings are due
January 13, 2011. The application forms are
posted below, and the recording must be of the
2010-2011 choir (i.e., recorded between August
2010 and January 2011). 4-5 choirs will be
chosen in a blind audition process to
participate in the day.
Since this premier high school choral festival
began in 2006, 1700 high school singers from 28
choirs have participated in this prestigious
