Audition Details

The Edina Chorale will be holding auditions for both full chorale and
chamber chorale, especially basses, Monday and Tuesday evening August 4
& 5, at Wayzata Community Church , 125 E. Wayzata Blvd , Wayzata , MN
55391 . Please prepare a solo; a hymn or folksong is fine, and several
hymnals will be available. There will also be some vocal exercises to
test range and musicianship. Accompanist is provided. For more

luvzcatz@comcast.net. The Edina Chorale sings a broad variety of
repertoire. The 2008-2009 season includes Beethoven, Haydn, Vaughan
Williams, Rutter, Grieg, Poulenc, Johnny Mercer, a CD recording
project, and a tour to Austria and Hungary .
 

The Northern Lights Chorale

Singers Wanted:

The Northern Lights Chorale, under the direction of Bruce Phelps, has begun auditions for the 2008-2009 performance season. Singers looking for a high quality choral experience are invited to contact Bruce for more information and/or to schedule an audition time. Summer Chorus with the Oratorio Society and U of M

The Oratorio Society of Minnesota and the University of Minnesota invite you to participate in the second annual Summer Chorus with conductor Matthew Mehaffey.

We're going to have a great time!  There is no audition; it's a short-term commitment, July 21-August 9; you'll have an opportunity to work on fine music with other experienced singers; you'll get to perform Durufle's Requiem with full orchestra in concert at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Minneapolis.  You could think of it as summer camp for your voice.
